This is the last Will and Testament of me Amey Pottrell of Deptford in the county of Kent Spinster first I give and bequeath unto my neice Elizabeth Wells Wife of Mr Thomas Wells of Royston in the County of Hertford all my Goods Chattels debts monies securities and effects whatsoever and wheresoevere for their own use and benefit and lastly I appoint the said Mr Thomas Wells and the said Elizabeth his wife Joint Executor and Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all others by me at any time howtofore made in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Eleventh day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and four Amey Pottrell signed sealed published and declared by the said Amey Pottrell as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto set our names as witnesses : Nath(an?) Wegg, Henry Carter.

This Will was proved at London the twenty fifth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and five before the worshipful [Illegible] [Illegible] Parson Doctor of Laws and surrogate of the Right Honourable Sir William [Illegible] Knight also Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or commissionary of the prorogative court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the oath of Thomas Wells one of the executors named in the said will to whom administration was granted of all and [Illegible] the goods chattels and credits of the said deceased he having been first sworn duly to administer power reserved of making the like grant to Elizabeth Wills wife of the said Thomas Wells the other Executor named in the said Will when she shall apply for the same.
