In the name of God amen the two and twentieth day of June in first year of the reign of our sovereign lady Ann by the grace of god of England Scotland France and Ireland Queen defender of the faith Anno dmi 1702. I Richard Pottrell of Chrishall in the county of Essex Yeoman being sick and weak in body but of sound perfect and disposing memory thanks go to god for the same do make this my last Will and testament in manner and form following First and principally I commend my soul into the hands of Almighty God my creator trusting through his mercy and the merits of my blessed saviour and redeemer Christ Jesus to be everlastingly saved And as for my worldly goods I give and dispose as follows. I give unto my three brothers Francis Henry and Thomas twelve pence a piece and to my sister Mary Brice twelve pence All the rest of my Goods and Chattels whatsoever I give unto Anne my Loving wife and ordain and appoint the said Anne my wife sole and only executrix of this my last will and testament In witness whereof I the said Richard Pottrell the Testator have hereto set my hand and seal the day and year above written. Sealed signed and delivered and declared by the said Richard Pottrell the testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the preseence of me.
