A sad case of accidental poisoning
A sad case of accidental poisoning occurred at King's Farm, Furneux Pelham yesterday. The occupier, Mrs Ann Pottrell, a widow in her seventy- ninth year, who was under medical treatment, went to a cupboard where she kept the mixture prescribed for her and a lotion. She drank by mistake a wineglassfull of the latter. She directly afterwards discovered her error. Medical assistance was called in, but the poor woman died in about three hours.
